Patuxent Playhouse will be taking a break in 2010.
Many of our
members have had or are currently experiencing major
life-changing events that need to be dealt with. The
Playhouse also needs time to restructure and reorganize. It
is the belief of the Board of Directors that a one year
layoff will allow time for that to happen as well as allow
our members to recover both physically and spiritually.
This
is NOT the end of Patuxent Playhouse!
Our
plan is to come back after this layoff period with a clear
direction
and revived commitment.

Patuxent Playhouse is a non-profit
community theater group based in Calvert County, Maryland.
Since 1989, our goal as an organization has been to
provide quality family entertainment to our community and to
give back to that community by working with our youth
through the arts. Our dream is to one day be part of
bringing a permanent theater to Calvert County for all to
enjoy. We are always looking for actors, directors,
technicians, or anyone else who wants to be a part of the
