Pereuna’s stage
debut was with the Hard Bargain Players in 2000 where she portrayed
Mrs. Rice in the Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket. Prior to
that, Pereuna was the understudy for the role of Ruth in the Port
Tobacco’s Players production of A Raisin in the Sun. Pereuna
has worked with the Port Tobacco Players since 2000 and has appeared
in several productions including The Queen in Cinderella,
Rheba in You Can’t Take it With You, Dame
Edith Pugh in Murder in Elsinore, Meeker in Inherit the
Wind, and as a chorus member in Singing in the Rain. In
March of this year, Pereuna portrayed Nana in the College of
Southern Maryland’s Production of Rossum’s Universal Robots.
Pereuna would like to thank God for his many blessings and Randy for
the opportunity to portray Juror #7 in this exceptional, thought
provoking play. Pereuna also thanks Vanessa Buono for helping her
find the meaning in all characters she portrays and the cast for
their hard work and dedication in bringing this piece to life! This
is Pereuna's fist production with Patuxent Playhouse, but hopefully
not her last!
