Although this is Valarie’s first appearance with The Patuxent Playhouse, she is no newcomer to the theatre. Valarie majored in Speech and Dramatic Arts with an emphasis in Theatre and Interpretation at Central Michigan University. She has vast experience both on and behind the stage. Valarie believes strongly in keeping the Arts alive in our communities, and is excited to work with this group of dedicated, artistic individuals. Her past credits include: Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, and the sequel Monday After The Miracle; Angel in When You Comin’ Back Red Ryder; Jan in Bedroom Farce; Anna in And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. A very special thank you to her loving and supportive husband Tracy, and her three blessings from God: Mallory, Geoffrey, and Nathaniel. They have all been very patient while Mom went off to create theatre again.
