Wendy Gray...

is a
hard-working, loving and compassionate woman who brightens the lives
of
hundreds of people every day while driving them in her
commuter bus from
Calvert County to Washington, DC (Route #902).
Wendy is always quick with a smile and a warm greeting for every
passenger who
has the privilege of riding her bus -- and has even assigned
affectionate nicknames to
dozens of her passengers !! Although Wendy has to fight the
gridlocked rush-hour traffic
of Washington every day, she does it with a professional expertise
that is very comforting.
There have been many nights when all traffic was delayed for hours
and hours due to
unexpected events (including snow storms, vehicle accidents, and
burning mattresses!)
and, every time, Wendy took it
upon herself
to fill those long hours with reassuring
and inspirational words
while uplifting the
spirits of her passengers
with her exceptionally-unique humor.
Wendy is a rare human being -- she has a sixth-sense that allows her
to know
when a passenger needs a kind word or a reason to smile. Every
passenger who has
ever received one of Wendy's winks, one of her thoughtful comments,
or a squeeze of
her hand knows how quickly everything can be so much better just
because
Wendy took a moment to care.
Wendy has suddenly become very ill and is currently undergoing
specialized
medical treatments for kidney complications. She and her family
have been hit hard
by this illness, both emotionally and financially, yet she still
tries to find ways to
give of herself to others.
Please join the "902 commuters" in reaching out to Wendy
in her time of need.
We're hoping that a little bit of assistance with her financial
burdens might make
her feel the hugs that surely will accompany each and every
contribution.
Let's help Wendy "get by with a little help from her friends !!"
Because the individuals who initiated this drive for assistance for
Wendy are personally paying all administrative costs,
Wendy will receive 100% of your contributions.

exception of PayPal fees)
